Features
  • Here is a handy tool for your Duramax owner to have under the seat or in a tool box with a spare fuel filter. The water in fuel (WIF) sensor wrench is a must have for the Duramax owner who is particular about taking care of his truck.
Using Channelocks or Water Pump pliers or any other tool with jaws will chew up the base and eventually crack it causing drain down of the fuel filter. This is not a condition anybody wants to deal with having to prime the fuel filter each time you start your truck. Make sure this doesn't happen to you and buy the MadJack Diesel Performance WIf sensor wrench today to keep in your tool kit or under your seat with a spare fuel filter. At just 14.95 you can not afford not to have one in your arsenal. Don't ever strip or chew up your WIF sensor again! The bottom of the handle is also machined out so it can be used to loosen the bleed screw on the fuel filter head.
**New wrenches are black in color not red**

1 of 5 Duramax water in fuel sensor wrench 2001 2011 March 19, 2019

I own a 2002 duramax.  This wrench was slightly to large for the sensor so it slipped and would not grasp.  Do to the price I paid for the wrench, it is not worth paying the freight to return. It was quicker to discard in the garbage can..

4 of 5 Works as advertised. April 4, 2017

This wrench was substituted, after they called me and asked if it was ok, for my original ordered PPE wrench (which was out of stock).  This wrench was lower priced and did what it was supposed to do. It is for removing a plastic part so I'm sure it will hold up to years of use.
