PPE’s Thermal Bypass Valve will increase flow to and from the cooler allowing for better heat transfer and cooling of your fluid. The OEM part has very restrictive passages and when it fails in the open position (due to mechanical failure and or debris and sludge) your transmission fluid won't reach your cooler causing the transmission to dangerously overheat.
