The Cat 1R-0749 2 Micron fuel filter will work on many filtration systems such as the Nicktane Fuel Filtration system. It is popular with aftermarket adapters for many of today's modern diesel pickups such as the GM Duramax, Dodge Cummins diesel engines. The Cat filters down to 2 micron absolute which will help protect your injection system and injectors on your Diesel Pickup. Many of today's injectors are 450.00 and more per injector so it makes sense to have the best filtration possible for the longevity of your investment.

Will work with the Nicktane adapter* and other adapters with the 1-14 thread pitch designed to accept the Cat 1R-0750 and Donaldson P553203 and like filters that cross reference to the Cat such as the Baldwin BF7637.

* Due to the length of this filter, if using this filter on an adapter such as the Nicktane adapter on a Duramax Diesel engine, a fuel filter head spacer is mandatory or you risk boiling fuel from the close proximity to exhaust manifold.
